Hey guys, the last one week just flew by, lots to catch up on after getting back from London. Woke up to the most devastating news of Michael Jackson passing away. I just sank in my chair; words can’t express my emotions because I am a huge huge fan of his. He was an icon, who lead an extraordinary life. I admired him for constantly reinventing himself and for converting me - a Pop lover after Thriller! His songs were not just songs, some had such deep meaning. I was also lucky to hear a lot about him from Jermaine his brother, who I got to know closely in the Big Brother house. It was sad how the press mercilessly shred him over issues that he got acquitted for at a later stage! He was a special soul; Gods chosen one…there can Never be another MJ! His music will immortalize him… was looking forward to watching him perform at the O2 in London, alas! My condolences with the family and May his soul rest in Peace… this loss is irreparable.

Shilpa - it is devastating news. He was an icon for his generation and his music will live on forever! Watching Jermaine at the press conference so soon after Michael’s death was sad to watch as well. The family must be really grieving. I hope you get to speak to Jermaine and convey the sadaness people are feeling. It seems wrong to see MICHAEL JACKSON IS DEAD headlines. very surreal.

Oh yes, Thats so true. I have always admired Michael Jackson. The world has lost one of the greats, but his music will live on forever !!!

It was horrible news.. I really couldn’t believe it!!! It was impossible, but i was wrong…
I hope that his family will find peace and that they have the strength to cope with loosing such an wonderful person.

I can understand … I donot have words to say … But the media in the US has been constantly getting updates on Michael Jackson death… People here and the police donot believe his death was due to cardiac arrest but of some other reason… His body has been sent for autopsy and they say it might take a couple of weeks… for the results to be out… What ever the reason may be His death has shatterd a lot of ppl across the globe.

It sure is a very sad news!!! Even i think the media has been unfair to him and a lot of other celebs as well!! But thats the way the media operates in the west!!! though its not a justification but a fact!!!!
