GETTIN MARRIED!
HERE we go again; my marriage plans are doing the rounds yet again for the nth time. I am sick and tired of people calling me to clarify after they’ve put it as breaking news on some channels and wasted reams of paper on concocted news articles! Grrrr…2 things have irked me - one, the press trying to do the thinking for me, and second, details of the reasons given to procure my dad’s passport, don’t even think it’s legal to give out personal info. my Poor dad is already having a tough time every time he has to travel abroad and has to apply for his passport, and as always…its harrowing enough for him to go back and forth every time for his passport and now to deal with these terrible stories from the past just bring back such bad memories. To top it all to be hounded by journalists when he went to visit the temple made it worse. My dad’s 67 and aging, please let the poor man live in peace and dignity, it’s annoying. I request the press to report responsibly and not make any baseless assumptions.
And most importantly I’d like to state, like I’ve said before I will make an official announcement on this site like I always do, the day my parents decide on my marriage date 
and I promise the press will have at least a month to celebrate the announcement! So to set the record straight, NO I AM NOT GETTIN MARRIED THIS YEAR, yes I am looking at next year, but date not decided. Phew! Anyway there’s so much on my plate, and am not talking about Food! Ha ha… have to say I can’t wait to get married but everything has a right time and place leaving from London tomorrow, will be back in India for a week… so long you people, until next time, and keep writing in…

I am unable to understand why people are interested in your marriage plan?
Some website informed that you were learning cricket basics from Graham and Shane…is it correct..
and you appraised cricketers for thier hard work comapred to film stars..

Ooh yah and that off wedding u said rite everything on the rite time….and as ur a famous person u won’t be able 2 escape the media….but yah u shuld have the skills 2 deal with them and u have that no doubt….they will always come with such nonsense

Im sure the media is such a pain in the butt, esp. for celebz like u…haha they like parasites ready to pounce!they’ve got nothing better to do or say-amazin wher they get this so-called info.!the media jus love instigatin ppl’s lives…

We all know how the media is , i wouldnt be suprised if they come out with a news the ” Shipla Shettty ties knott with Geffory Boycott”.:)

Yesterday I saw your program on Star TV- Tere Mere Bich Me. As usual you are looking grogeous. All of us enjoyed the show. Me, my wife and our daughter are very big fan. We never miss a chance to show you on TV. Would like to meet you once if you permit (pray God to make it happen). I know all of your fans must be saying like this and its not possible for you, but still a little wish.

I firmly belive that marriage is not the end of all things in a girls life… so bravo to you… and all the best in whatever you do…and most importanatly… i feel so happy that you have make your parents proud…
i saw your prog in star one yesterday, and i admit that the respect for which i had for you before has increased.:) .. i am also a single girl child like you, but the only difference is.. that i am married.. and whatever you said yesterday at the show was 100% correct.. i am a simple girl… and my parents stay quiet a distant away…9 well m from kolkata, and my hubby stays in jaipur) so you will understand what it feels like.. my both parents have given up thier everything to make me stand on my own feet.. but they are unfortunate that i couldnt return back anything to them..i am 26 now, n got married 4years ago… but still they let me study whatever i like… but still i couldnt return back them my 100%…
whatever i studied, i am not confident about it.. but the thing is i want to do something to repay them back, and make them proud…
when i saw you and bipasha mam, how you people are the strenght of your parents, i also want the same.. but my self-confidence has gone completely down..i fear to go to any place…i fear to talk to new people… i am very scared.. i dont know why…
