With Love from London.
Its been a gratifying week, After receiving the Dna style goddess award I Reached a
cold and wet London four days ago. I came for the Silver Star charity event aimed at
Diabetes awareness hosted by Mp Keith Vaz attended by Prime Minister Gordon Brown,
my Favourite Mr Amitabh Bachchan and my dear friend Sanjay Dutt. I have always
leveraged my name to causes that have been dear to me. This one for personal reasons
and out of personal experiences (my mum was a diabetic and my mother in law has been
on Insulin for the past twenty years!!!) Studies show that we asians are most prone
to this disease and I think it is imperative to be aware of anything that can be
life threatening…..The key is to TAKE THAT TEST and it is in your hands to control
it. The sooner you detect it the easier it is to keep it under check. So spread the
word and be aware:)
Spent a whole day yesterday in a board meeting working out strategies on how to take
my Gourmet Range forward, the whole new range is very exciting, creative and above
all healthy. After that I attended the opening of our new restaurant in Chelsea
called the Bombay Bicycle. That takes the numbers upto twenty Bombay Bicycles around
London. So all you curry lovers in London you have to try it and give me your
feedback.
Last but not the least I must apologise to all my fans for not being a regular
blogger and have decided to join the twitter world along with my continued
blogging. Where I will promise to tweet my thoughts or experiences of the day every

Glad ur doing your bit for diabetes awareness, yes a lot of asians suffer from this, so it’s good you’re getting the word out.
I was in a supermarket the other day, and we went past a ready meal section, I remembered your food range that was supposed to be launced at Christmas… well better late than never! Looking forward to it.
At last you’re on twitter!! I’m new to it too. I’m following you already! I’m sure you’ll soon be addicted and loads of people are going to follow you. One tip… speak to one of the celebrities on twitter, (preferrably SRK) and tell them you’re on twitter - and then they will tell all their followers to follow you! They do it all the time when a friend of theirs joins, it’s like they’re verifying that it’s an official account and not a fake, because they’ve spoken to you in person!
Looking forward to your tweets! Hopefully a lot more regular than your blog.

hi shilpa even today i confirmed with the courier company. they said the COURIER DELIVERED ON 2 MARCH AT 3:15 PM IN YOUR OFFICE. HAD THE COMPANY STAMP ON IT. M REALLY PUZZLED AS WHETHER U GOT IT OR NOT. I knw u r really busy but just inform me something abt it in just two words. I knw ur time is precious bt atleast i wont be puzzeled regarding it. m really confused.
Anyways looking forward with ur confirmation abt the parcel as only u can tell whts happening abt parcel as i did every possible thing to confirm tht u got it or nt. Now the ball is in ur court. hey hi shilpa really really happy at last my all efforts dnt gone waste and finally u got my small token of love. I hope u got all stuff 4 printouts of which 3 ur function pics and one letter for u and raj with One dvd. REALLY RELAXED NW AFTER EATING THE BRAINS OF COURIER PERSON (he was so annowed as i was continuesly calling him) heeeeeeeeee :-)Bt m happy tht finally all ended well. I KNW U MUST HAVE SEEN LOTS MORE CREATIVITY THN THIS BT IT WAS STRAIGHT FROM THE HEART. I want to send big printouts bt as pics were taken from net they were getting pixelatted and blur if i got big printouts. so i got the best possible size. well i was tired giving answers to my family ( they asking why u sending :-)) thn print out person as why i was getting shilpa shetty printout(i fooled him by saying its my project heeeeeeeeeeee:-))finally courier people who was soooooo eager to see ur name and find tht the courier was going to shilpa shetty in real heeeeeeeeeeee WELL AFTER ALL CLEARIFICATIONS TO CONCERNED AND UNCONCERNED PEOPLE IT FINALLY REACHED U. i knw u r really busy these days and in tht u replied me was really nice as till yesterday i was imagining my gift in dustbin and was really sad:-( bt nw its:-) well nw i knw why u say ALWAYS BE POSITIVE:-) ALL WELL THT ENDS WELL.
