MY BOYS !!!
Twitter is so addictive that one forgets to blog, but what can one write in 140
characters! So will make an effort to blog once a week on all the occurrences,
thoughts, highs and lows.
As my new found status of a wife (a full time job!ha ha) and a businesswomen it has
left me with very little time on hand. Well as you know we (Rajasthan Royals)
didn’t kick off to a good start,losing out on players due to
Injuries(Graeme,Dimitri) and availability(Watson, Jadeja)to make matters worse
losing the first three games was heartbreaking. With some necessary changes by our
captain now things are looking up, our last win has boosted the teams spirits and
let’s hope we can stick to this winning streak.
I have been asked many a time that why don’t I sit in the Dug out and support my
team. My designation is very clear in the Royals, I handle marketing and promotions
and boast to say we are one of the best marketed teams. I prefer to watch the
matches with my husband and family and let our hired professional coaches do their
job. I am not that good an actress that I can hide the pain of losing early wickets
and don’t feel its right to share the stress or put any pressure on my players in
the dug out. I meet them all before and after the match and they all know they have
my utmost support.
Raj and I hosted a dinner for the whole team last night, we all sat together and
watched the Mumbai vs KKR match and played poker with some of them, Damien Martyn
won!
Alls well, its been a crazy schedule , fell sick, recouped and raring to go! Have
some interesting announcements to make to you all…will do so very soon! Phewww!

hii Shilpa… its my first comment on ur blog.. .. though I m an avid supporter of KXIP ..I wish RR too performs well in the coming matches ..
its very interesting to watch matches when 2competitive teams r against each other … & as RR’s next match is against KXIP i just wish we again get a chance to see a SUPER over… its nerve wrecking…. but ASLI MAZAA toh usme hi hai … he he he ..

Glad to see your latest blog… finally!!
You kind of made up for you’re lack of blogging by using the micro-blogging site Twitter, but as you quite rightly put it, not much can be said in 140 characters, so thanks for vowing to blog here at least once a week (you’ve said it now, so u can’t back down 
but I know you’re very busy so you’ll be forgiven if you go over slightly).
Yes there were a few major hicups at the start for RR, but that didn’t put the ardent fans off. Setbacks always occur in life, but you need to persevere, and that’s something RR are good at doing! So all the best for the rest of the season.
Glad you’re feeling better, and we’re all waiting for the interesting announcements! Halla Bol.

As i Avinash Modi and i have came to see ur first ipl match in ahmedabad, and i know u have came near the ground to see ur fans and ur fans have started coming towards u, and seeing u ran back to pavilion, it was rocking………..that day,
